The WNS Story

WNS Global Services was established in 1996 by British Airways. It launched a delivery center in Pune in 1999. Warburg Pincus acquired the majority shares of WNS in 2002.

In 2003, the company began providing business process management (BPM) services to clients from different businesses. In the following year, the company opened new offices in Gurgaon, India, and Colombo, Sri Lanka. 

The company held its initial public offering (IPO) on New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in 2006. This was succeeded by a series of acquisitions and the establishment of delivery centers in many locations. Today, WNS works with hundreds of customers as a strategic partner, always looking for ways to improve business results.
