Outline Outline This stream prepares registered nurses without current registration in Australia for registration. Internationally qualified registered nurses may seek registration within Australia after successfully completing this program.
The stream builds on your professional knowledge and experience as a registered nurse and enhances your capability as a member of an interprofessional team in a changing healthcare system.
You will study research, evidence informed practice and the biological and behavioural sciences that underlie nursing. You will be encouraged to problem solve, identify and assess the needs of individuals and families.
The course can also help you establish a basis for future postgraduate study, specialisation and research.
Successful completion of this course enables internationally and locally qualified nurses to seek registration in Australia.
